cordless M2616 & T7406

does anyone know if the cordless M2616 comes with a second separate charging base so the user can charge it on his desk but also keep a handset charger on his table? and can i use a T7406 with an Option 11 PBX? thanks (I don't know what I'd do without this website)

think the product was retired but they use them at west point and they work fine dont know about sencond charger
I worked out of east fiskill ibm as a res tech then stamford ct office went to training in both nyc and wethersfield..

The product you are looking is the Companion, it's retired from the US market. The T7406 is for Norstar KSU only. You may have another option programing one Analog port and using a regurlar cordless telephone with a High Cover range.

we dont want the companion. And we want a two-line cordless. So i am pretty much out of options, right?

The cordless 2616 has a spare battery charging port on the unit under the handset in the earpiece cradle.

Pat, I worked at 330 madison from 86-95 and from 95-97 I worked in Rocky Hill/Wethersfield. If you were in Stamford you must know Dan Williams and Jeanine Egdorf.

yes it uses the same AC power that the handset uses when it charges in the cradle.

i'm still not clear then. Does a cord connect the actual handset with an outlet and you charge it that way?

Its an AC power pack that plugs into the back of the phone-he must already have it plugged in to the phone to charge the handset when he hangs it up so just order another battery and slip it into the 'spare battery charging port' I believe it is standard equipment.
