Is there a straightforward way that the Outlook address book from one version of Outlook can be transferred to another version? (Our office does not have a server but we require all of our workstations to be able to reference the same address book)

Also check out this post:

thread68-499552 has information about where to find/how to copy/backup Outlook emails, address book, archives, etc.

Tried Celeste's solution, but it transfers not just the address book, but also any emails, tasks, etc from the source version of Outlook, overwriting those previously held in the destination version. Thanks for the tip though, this is handy to know for backup purposes.

Skip's solution sounds like a definite possibily, but I have no idea what type of file I should create in order that Outlook will read the addresses correctly when it imports it to the destination file.

Any thoughts anyone?

Jamie, did you specifically see lucmcconnell's response about address book being saved as a .pab file? He also had a link which looks really useful for Outlook
As for the exporting, make sure you export it in a file that Outlook can import... try a comma separated file.

Thanks Celeste, tried this and got it working now.
