I forgot a "trick" I had to copy an image from a file, and place it in the "Paint" program.

Example:

Let's say that I am looking on my PC screen an Excel data sheet. I want to capture the image exactly as I see it on the screen.

What method do I have to apply in order to copy the image exactly as I see it ?

Hi,

I'am using the freeware grab_it_Nt.

It works from Windows 98 to XP.

You can put the whole screen, a window or a part of a window to the clipboard und than paste it to another application.

Use CTRL + ALT +PrintScreen to copy the active window only.
