Please tell me why when I log on as the user the system is saying that the roaming profile is not available.
What am I doing wrong. I am almost sure that I used the steps below to set up profiles below and they worked
1. Create a new user as a test user
2. Log on as that user and set environment
3. Log off as the user and log on as the administator
4. Open systems
5. Find the testuser and copy to the name of the user who will use the profile
Eg \\jMyserver\profiles\branch
6. Click on ok
7. open the profile folder from the network and change the dat to man

9. Go to the server and open the folder for branch and enter the profile path
Eg. \\Myserver\profiles\branch
Now log on as cox

'Go to the server and open the folder for branch and enter the profile path' - do you mean you added this in User Manager?

Has the user cox got full permissions to this profile folder you've set up on the server?

yes the path was added through user manager.

where do I set the permissions for that user, under change option in the system, user profiles, or do I go to the profile folder on the server and set permissions there and should I set just read permission.

Go to the profile folder on the server - security tab. You can try it with read permissions (as its a mandatory profile) - up it if this doesn't work.
