This question was already asked ones on may 2005 by hansdebadde (thread149-1067308) but he didn't get a useful answer.

I also have the same question by having about 20 tables using the same specified order for a group named "size"
so i dont wont to redo those specific orders to the other 20 tables I want to be able to copy the specific order from one table to the all others. I am using CR 7.
Any ideas?

I find it easier to create a formula to handle the specified order grouping when I need to use it and upadte it in multiple reports.

You basically create a formula that returns a value instead of the field:

select {table.country}
case "USA" : 1
case "Canada" : 2
case "France" : 3
default : 9999 //just a high number that is well out of range

I then group on this and under the group options, I choose to Customize the Group Name field, and then choose the original field (Country in my example) to display.
