Hello,

I have a selection of photos with a person at a few different locations taken from a stationary camera. I want to copy the person out of the images and paste them into the exact same location on the base image. Is there a quick way to do this?

I have done this before using the co-ordinates as references but it seems a little clunky.

In my attempts am also having a few frustrations with the selection getting pasted into the correction location of a new layer, but when copying that layer across to a new image it goes back to the centre of the layer.

Any help would be much appreciated = )

Make a rough selection round the person. Hit Ctrl Shift and P to promote the selection. Hit Ctrl C swap to your other background file and chose paste as new layer. I think that should do it.
