Copy message with visual voice. Release 9.0.829 1

Is any one having issues with copying a message to other users in visual voice on release 9.0.829. I have a customer (nothing fancy just ip phones)that is using voicemail pro with 9608 phones. when they try and copy a message to another user they add the target and then press send to. the display then goes back to the add targets screen. I have confirmed that they are on the latest release of phone (6.3.0.37). I looked at the marketingtools site and the support site and no mention of this issue exists. I am in the processes of downloading and will be installing the SP 1 that was released on Dec 10th. but just wanted to see if anyone has had this issue before.

I have our system on 9.0.0.829 / our vm pro runs on a linux box. I tested Copying a message from my mailbox to another (without recording an intro and with recording an intro) both were received. Please note that I had to press the following options to get it to go through. COPY, SEND TO: xxxx ADD, SEND, CANCEL then MORE, then DELETE.

Just as a quick update, I did a few more tests as my initial attempt did not forward as it was supposed to and I wanted to rule out user error. I did a total of 5 Copy tests (some while listening to the message, others without listening some with an introduction recording and some without). Only two of them actually went through. Anyone else with similar findings?
 
We have the same issue on a customer system and got a patch for it. Sadly, the patch does not work.

Im glad I saw this. A customer today was in for a dem and asked about this. "easy!!" I said, just press this, this, this and then SEND and Hey Presto...... erm, it usually works. Let me try again..........

Anyone tried 9.0.1.945?? I should really get round to upgrading ours!!!!

I am updating the system to the new SP1 and will test tomorrow. I will post back and open a ticket with Avaya if needed.

The update to SP1 did not help the issue. Looks like a call to Avaya.

I too have a customer with same issue. Any resolution found would be appreciated.
 
avaya has a patch that fixes it.

jconrad0305 do you know the build number? Our Avaya engineer does not know of any build to fix this.

We are deploying this patch to a customer this week, I'll post back if it ends up working.

Sweet. Glad it worked. The last one was bunk. There was another patch for a UMS issue; I hope these get rolled up into the next update.

OH NO! This is the Windows version. I have the UC Module (C110). Guess I'll have to wait it out with the Avaya engineer. [sad] Star for you anyway!!
 
We had this issue. Turned out you needed to hit the 'OK' button after entering the destination extension, otherwise it wouldn't send. We thought pressing the send key would... IDK.... send. Not the case. 'OK' we were doing it wrong. [2thumbsup]

Dermis and feline can be divorced by manifold methods.
