Copy Contents From One Site To Another

I developed a mock-up share point on a small site. The model was approved. Now, the structure and contents must be moved to a newly approved "big" site. Apparently, that can be done ... the question is > How? Moving my structure and contents would save me a "ton" of re-development time. Thanks.

 
there is a few ways you can do it.
Here is a link to a MS article about migrating content databases -
You can do a backup of your existing environment and restore it to your new environment.

you can also move the content databases as explained here -
I have never had much luck with backup/restore method. Is the site already live? that will change the way that you want to do the migration. Also, will you be using a different SQL Server?

there are quite a few resources available if you search google.
