I want to copy a config file from a primary router to a backup! Whats the best way?

Get a TFTP server and load it on a windows system. You can use the one that comes from Cisco. Or the one that I use....
Enter into your router, go to the Global config and type in this....

copy run tftp

it will then ask you where to copy the file to. (host)
the file name (what name it will copy it as) and to confirm (Y) This will then copy your running config to the system you are running the TFTP Server on......

*end users are just like computers, some you can work with...others just need a simple reBOOTing to fix their problems.*
