Hi All, I am newbie who does some easy adds, moves & chg's on an Option 61c. I have an acd 2616 set that is set to SPV (she has since left the comp.) and am looking to chg this set to an AGN (just like the other 100 or so in the queue). Question, can I utilize the COPY command to make this change, or rather what would be the best route to get this done? Thanks in advance for any input...

print it, then out it and build it back. No copy, easy chg, or mov. If you use spid, make certain no agents have that supers spid on their set before you out it.

OK, thanks. I was afraid someone was going to say that. Have never built a set from scratch before, but I guess every journey starts with the first step... Thanks Again.

if you want to change user from spv to agn

I would still out and rebuild, better safe than sorry.

if you haven't built a phone beofre, this is a good chance to learn. print out the old one as suggested, then build it back. Of course you will forget something or have to go back and rebuild it again, but thats a learning experience. Then when you have a real problem with a phone later you might remember, oh yeah thats the cls or whatever.

Thank you all for your input, I will keep the chg command handy for future reference, but will attempt a new build. Need to learn it anyway... Thanks again, if I need anything further I'll post a new question...

John is right on the money Just out and rebuild. You really don't want to take the chance of corruption. It is possible to corrupt the entire ACD group and then it's Nortel ETAS time for them to fix it. I had a customer that did a move and trashed the entire ACD all 50 sets. It took Nortel 6+ hours to fix it. Glad it wasn't me! Personally I don't like ever using the mov command. out and rebuildis safest.
