Copy and Paste Excel into a mail document

We use Office 97 Pro with sr2. What we are doing is copying a few colomns out of an excel document and pasting them into an e-mail document from Outlook. The problem is when the e-mail arrives you can double click on the colomns and get a dashed line, that circles the colomns, with "buttons" in the middle. You can then click on the "button" and drag it, showing the rest of the excel document that you didn't highlight. Is there a way to keep this from happening?? Thanks
 
Seems like Outlook sends the entire file.

The only way I could keep the rest of the file from being viewed was Paste-Special as RTF format.

See if that works for you.
