Copy & paste from Acrobat without hard returns at line endings

Is it possible to change the settings in Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional to allow copying of paragraphs from an Acrobat PDF file and pasting in a text editor without having a hard return at the end of each line?

I need to export a fully formatted document from Adobe InDesign CS3 to Adobe Acrobat 8 so that readers can copy and paste paragraphs to word processors and text editors. The text needs to flow in paragraphs as it does in the original.

If the work is text heavy, without a lot of pics, etc, the person can save the pdf as Word, rich text, plain text (file menu/save as) in Acrobat Pro. Then they can do as as they please.

If they use Adobe Reader, they can save as text (file menu).

Using OSX 10.3.9 & 10.4.11 on a G4, G5 & Intel Macbook

You can export to RTF directly from indesign.

Select all your text, File>Export>Rich Text Format (from the drop down list)

You do need to have all your text frames threaded, or just have all your text in a single text thread... which you should do anyway...

If using Professional.

Use the "Touch up text tool". It will take the selection and allow you to paste as one paragraph. You will manually have to insert Breaks if multiple paragraphs are being selected.

Just to note, this doesn't happen in Acro 9 Pro, it retains the paragraph breaks. So I'm told.
