I am using a Nortel Meridian system with Norstar M7324 hand sets. I need to copy the button setup from one set to another. Can someone please guide me to the proper place to accomplish this?

Thanks

Go to terminal and sets and hit copy.. then from what set to what set.

Honestly... If the system is up and running.. I advise do not do a copy. Sometimes you'll be harming yourself more then you think. Just program the set.

when you go to terminals & sets and select the DN of the station that you want to be the template press the copy soft key under the display. then press change so the display is Systen&User instead of System Data. then put in the DN you are copying to.

I would then go to the set you copied the info to and do "feature *0" then hit each button on set to make sure everyhting is correct. One more minute of checked can save you from having to go back later on another call.

I have logged in to the admin of the sysetm and navigated to the capabilities section. Once there, I have selected Set Abilities. Then I copied a known good setup to the phone extension that I am trying to change.

Since this did not work for me, I must not making the change in the correct menu.

I do not see a menu selection for Terminals and Sets.

We must be speaking of two different systems, since I do not have any menu selections on my phone that resemble what has been suggested so far.

The system that I am working with is a Norstar-Plus Modular ICS. I am entering the admin through my phone which is a Norstar M7324.

I have a phone with line assignments that are different from the other phones in the office. I want to make it act the same as the others, but so far nothing I have tried works.

Thanks again

Bill

what version of MICS do you have.. What password are you using?

NTL555

It appears to be an NT7B53FA-93 Rel 08C

I am logging in using **23646

You need to log in with the installer password and not admin to get to the menus that they are talking about.

I see... That password is not discussed in the System Coordinator guide that I have at my disposal. Apparently the gentleman that I replaced did not see the need to leave that here for my reading enjoyment.

Could you share the default login and password with me, so I can try and see if I can get in using it?
