Hi

I have an Access2002 database with forms, reports etc. I have a report that displays some public variables from one of my forms. It all works fine in Access2000 (database was created using this) but when I run it on Access2003 all that comes up is ?name# as if it can't find the public variable.

anyone come across this before or have any suggestions?
thanks,
Sinead

Have you checked your References?

With any form open in design view go to Toolbar --> View --> Code.

With Code window open go to Toolbar --> Tools --> References.

See if any References show up as "Missing" and also compare References that are checked in Access 2000 version with those checked in Access 2002 version.

You can also check "What's new in Access 2002" on the Microsoft website if the above References doesn't help you.
