I'm converting a complicated report to RTF. When I bring up the file in RTF it is missing the logo at the top and a sub report in the middle. There are other sub reports on the page and they are fine. This happens if I do it in code (outputto) or click the buttom (publish in MS Word).

Anyone have any ideas?

When you export reports the images are lost (even when you do it as HTML). This is a real pain. I have heard of two solutions - one is to export as a snapshot (snp) the other is to print/export as a pdf file (with this solution you need to have the full version of Adobe I think)

Yes, Snapshot viewer is available from MS as a free download. I often use it and it works quite well. You can add an icon for it to a custom toolbar so users have easy access to it. Note however, that the recipient will need Snapshot viewer also to view the document - if it is not already installed on their pc they will need to download the viewer (you could send them a link to it). There is a very comprehensive article on this at

Thanks much for the info. That explains the image but not the table. I suppose it won't matter since I'll have to pitch the pdf option to the client.

Thanks again,

So, I need a bit more help on this. I tried the PDF solution but it did not help with the missing sub-report. Here is a bit more information:

There are 2 sub-reports that overlap. One of them will always be made invisible. I am thinking that this is causing the problem. Any ideas?
