I recently began the project of building a PC into my truck. Anyway, I've received all of the parts...well the other night I was testing it to see if it would run correctly. Everything is working fine except my video (major part of the process....doh!) Here is my problem, the monitor is a video monitor and I need a way to convert it into a PC monitor. I've looked online for converters, but being that I'm not fluent in this area I'm not sure if it will solve my problem.

Here is the barebone I ordered, with a picture of my choice of connections on the back.

The monitor is a regular video monitor with RCA connections. So in conclusion, is there a way to convert RCA or S-video to VGA......or vice versa?

There are third party products which will take the VGA signal from the PC and convert it to Composite Video ( - I'd recommend using a PC monitor, however, and displaying video from the PC and other sources - the quality of the PC display would be better than that of what you could display on the video monitor. Hopefully the link gives you a good start.

Can I ask where you found the PC at?

For starters I usually check froogle. It gives me a general idea of how much I expect to pay. I think I ended up buying mine from tiger direct. It was like 270 or something. Its one SWEET barebone...ASUS Digimatrix.
