Converting PMingLiU text to Engligh?

I have been sent a document that has 5% Times New Roman text and 95% PMingLiU text.

I wish to convert the PMingLiu text to a readable English text but am unable to do so. I highlight the text and change the font but nothing happens.

The PMingLiu text is being displayed as square boxes.

I am running MS Office 2000 SP3.

Can anyone help?

I have tried the MS KB to no avail.

you need to install the fonts used by the document.

Without the you will not be able to do anything.

Thanks for the reply.

I have just installed the fonts and the text is now formatted/displayed to chinese. However I want to translate it into English. Is this possible?

Sorry but Word does not do translation - indeed machines don't generally do it very well at all. You really need to get the services of a professional translator.
