Are you saying there is a tool to translate from one to the other?

It is confusing the when you say frontend. What you want to convert?
Forms to a static display HTML?
Interactive data query/display pages?
Access itself allows to export all the objects into different formats (HTML,ASP,DAP,RTF,Excel,XML etc..).
Select it from the File Menu.
there was a thread I replied earlier was the same discussion
thread181-972987

Select it from the File Menu. RE: I chose file |save as
and got pop up that had scroll bar for 1. from, 2. report, 3. data access. This didn't work.

I also tried using the file | export procedure. This also did not work.

What are you trying to do? Move an Access application into a web format?

I just took an Access form and saved it as a Data Access Page. Masses of error messages then up pops this almost perfect image of the form - as an HTML screen. I even did a bit of data updating.

There is no tool that does the job that well. Especially if you have code. Dataaccess pages suck. If you want to stick with vb, go with .asp pages.

You will have to re-create your gui in webformat. If you were going to do this, you should probably move to sql server, or mysql.

Or go with an application server(it servs up your application by a hosting company).
