Converting gif into jpeg 1

Hi
I wanted to convert gif image into jpeg in photoshop.
When i try to open the gif image, i receive an error saying the file type is not supported.

Can anyone help me in this please.. or if there is anyother software i can download to convert gif into jpeg without much changes

eggles, I have a forum on my website that only allows .jpg files for the avitar.

This is because it is hard coded.
