Converting from Access 2003 to Access 2007

We have a split FE/BE. We converted the backend successfully, but when trying to convert the FE, we get the msg "You attempted to open a database that is already opened exclusively by user 'Admin' on 'Computer07'. Try again when the database is available." My computer is named 'Computer07' and of course, the file is open on my machine in order to do the SaveAs. Suggestions?

Are you running any code? Did you open the FE keeping the shift key pressed to bypass start-up routines?

Using the shift key as you suggested worked, thank you! For future readers it also works to open a new blank 07 database and import the old one.
