Hi all.
What is the best way to convert a form from FoxPro2.6 to VFP9?
Thanks.

That's a shame, because it was not just one form I was thinking about - it was rather a complex series of forms.
Thanks Geoff.

It will take some time but we have all been through the same thing. Post specific questions and we can help.

Most common errors are when using Variables (I know this one well). They are now replaced with Form Properties and local variables instead of public variables.

Once you get "over the hump" and actually create a working form from your previous one it will be fun. Until then, it will be work.

I agree with the others. You could in theory just run the existing forms. Assuming they are SPR files, they will run just like a PRG.

But, really, there's no point in doing that. You might as well stick with 2.6. If you want to get any benefit from VFP, I'd advise you to create all your forms as proper VFP forms.

Thanks for all your input.
I think I'll just recreate the system in VFP9 based on the original - it sounds like the easiest option.
