Converting file paths to objects.

I have an interesting problem. In an accessdb table I have a field containing file paths. In a crystal report, I would like to create a formula field that takes the contents of the file paths db field, checks if any of the entries have a .bmp extension, and if so, uses the path to display the bitmap on the report. Can anyone help? Is this possible?

Use a OLE Object to contain the BMP instead of the path name. It will then act as a regular column for your row and you will be able to add the different bitmaps as desired. The path name will not work.
