Converting entire folders of image files from .tif to PDF

How do you perform a batch conversion, i.e change the image format from .tif to PDF for an entire file folder ?<br>
I can do it easily enough with one file, but have not figured out the HELP instructions to perform this on an entire folder or group of files at once....

1: Make an action:<br>
go to the action tab<br>
make a new one<br>
name it <br>
record while you save an image as PDF<br>
stop recording.<br>
2: Run a batch<br>
in files menu.<br>
click batch<br>
chose to run your new action<br>
