converting .bmp file to .jpg

Does anybody know of a control that uses the .jpeg codec to convert a .bmp to a .jpg image possibly with access to quality settings etc.

AseeDsee is a good simple prog that does that. It is often on magazine covers or you can download it from scdsystems.com
