Hey guys,

I have an analogue extension (type 500) which i need to change to a digital (type 2216).

I have outed the analogue extension and am able to copy the digital phone of a similar setup to the one required, I am able to do

CPY 1
TYPE 2216
CFTN 5 12
DES 359
TN 18 02

Then I am getting error sch0126 which means "Station type conflicts with existing card".

I would be very greatful on any advice on how to overcome this.

Thanks in advance
Nigel

I gues you'are configuring an analogue port for a digital extention.
You need ? Digital Line Card port to create and connect a digital set.

Thnks for the response 3tdp33ler.

How do i identify a free digital line card port?

madmonkeys... use LD20 req:luvu that will show you the unused voice units look for your digital ports.make
sure you don't use one of your meridian mail ports if you have mermail.

You can try to do it with LD20:
REQ LUU <-- Lists Unused Units
TYPE 2000 <-- To see unused digital voice ports (marked VCE)

To add to the above -- make sure you use units 0-15, and not in the 16-31 range.

if you use
ld 20
luvu
2000 (for all dig voice ports 500 for analog ports)

you will only see a list of unused digital voice units.. that command does not list 16-31... if you stat a card

ld 32
stat 5

that will tell you what type stations are on that card... you have to copy from a dig to a dig and from an analog to an analog..
