I know its silly, but does anyone know where I can get a converter like this?
Try going to <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> (DataComm Warehouse). Look in the networking section for media converters.

I see Allied Telesyn, Transition, Unicom, Nu Data, & Canary
listed in their print catalog. I purchase from DataComm Warehouse on a somewhat regular basis and have been quite happy with their service and prices. As far as the media converters go I have used both the Allied Telesyn and the
Transition brands and both seem O.K. (I have a slight prefer ence for the Allied Telesyn models but not for any significant technical reasons)

I believe most of these products are also available from
Computer Discount Warehouse (CDW.com).

Good luck with your networking.
MILAN is another brand. They're all pretty much plug n' play devices. Find the best price and run with it.

Hi,

I know this thread is a year old but, I used a 3com 5 port hub that had both COAX conector on the back as well as 5 10 baseT ports. I got the most bang for the buck that way
