Converted analog phones to SIP can't make or receive calls.

So we're currently running CM 5.2 and we have converted some analog phones to 9600sip in CM via SPA112 converter. The problem is whenever we dial it gets us a fast busy tone. Same thing happens if another station dials the converted phones extension. Other things I notice are the SIP trunk between CM and SES keeps getting OOS-FE and whenever I list trace the converted phone, nothing shows on the trace? Any inputs? Things I've tried are busy/release the signalling/trunk, restart the SES service, re-register the user from CM and SES, match the configs of SPA112 to CM. Btw, this was working before, the only activity we've done is change the time of CM, reboot and this happened.

maybe some cert expired and noone noticed until you had to re-establish a TLS handshake :)

Performed packet trace and received this. 407 Proxy Authentication Required.

thats normally fine. if you see that - which is a sip response - then it's not certs.

after a 407, the thing sending the invite should send it again with a nonce which is basically a hash of the password. What happens after the 407?

So, I tried changing the transport method in signalling from TLS to TCP and can now receive a call, but still can't dial.

what's in your signaling groups?

When CM receives a SIP invite, there's a whole thing it does to associate the message to a specific signaling group, but step 1 is "find all sig groups that match the source/dest IP/port for this message".

If changing ports/config made calls work, then there is some configuration issue underlying it. Either you were doing it wrong, or maybe you had working TLS/TCP sig groups and the certs expired, I dunno.
