Convert PNG to JPG

I've got a problem: I need to convert png files to jpg files.

Do an exe exists to do it (free use and no cost) ?

Or is it possible to do it writing VB code, by myself ?

Thanks, ok, I know there's many freewares like ACDSee, but I'm looking for a program I could call from my VB program.

I'll give my png file when I call it, and it will create a jpg file.

Do you see? (maybe my english's not fluent 'caus I'm a young french programmer...)
