Convert PLT to DWG 2

Is there a freeware utility available to convert a PLT format file onto DWG format? Plz Help.

Not that I know of. There was a program in Express Tools for R14 from Autodesk which may be incorporated in 2004, but I wouldn't bet on it.

If you ever find plt2dwg.lsp you'll have it.

If you ever find one let me know, you are not the first to ask, there are about 200 people in line ahead of you.

AutoCAD Versions since 2000i come with the plt2dwg.lsp. But the lisp file does not work with all plot files.

There are a few more conversion programs, but Paramveer did not say shareware, just freeware.

You may want to try Goverts tool; HPGL2DXF

It is for HPGL/2 .PLT files but it is free. There is other great progs there too.
