Is it possible to convert a pdf file back to a MSWord document.
I have a user who converted some word files to .pdf to load onto our intranet page, but they then proceeded to delete the original word docs! who knows why.......
Anyway, we still need the word formats available for editing/updating and I was wondering as I haven't really used the software much if its possible via Adobe Acrobat to convert back to a word doc?

Any advice appreciated.

If you have Acrobat Adobe Professional 6, then just "save as" with the format as ".doc". It will change it back to a word document.

Wouldn't the deleted docs be in the user's Recycle Bin?

Thanks for the advice. We were running Adobe 5 which that option is not available, however I emailed to friend who had version 6 and they converted for me.

henrypos, items were not in recycle bin as files were on network folder.

Thanks again.

Some companies back up network drives...
Of course, if the docs were never there long enough to get backed up, that wouldn't help.
