I have Acrobat 7 Pro. What is the best way to convert a Word Doc to a PDF that doesn't consider the text in the word doc as "text", but rather a flat image-like object?

I wont ask why..

Might not be the best but it isnt too much of a hassle if there is multiple pages and it will work

Make your PDF from work how ever you want..

Load it up in acrobat, File>Print
(I will guess that your in Windowz)

Check off the box that says [] Print to File
Click on the Advanced Button
In the Advanced Print Setup check off at the top:
[]Print as Image
Set your resolution to what you want and then hit ok

Hit Print

Save file Dialog box will pop up... save your file where need be

Load up Distiller and distill your .ps file with whatever setting you want.

Keep in mind the raster size will be huge and even more gargantuan with every page you have so dont go overkill on the resolution.

You want image, you got image

Better way would be to convert all your type to outlines though I cant think of a way of doing that without using Pitstop. Using Illustrator is a possibility (if you have it) though it would be too much of a pain if you had alot of pages..

Once again I wont ask why you would do such a thing :p
