I sometimes use clipart in projects which are printed in B&W. I want to know how to convert coloured vector images - initially imported in WMF format but exported as EPSs - in V9. There appear to be a way of doing this to bitmaps, and it could be done by selecting each individual component of the clipart (some very complex) and changing the fill and outline colours, but is there a way of doing it to the whole graphic in one go (as in Illustrator?)

Sorry, I don't have the answer for you but I'm trying to figure that out myself and posted "Bitmap color change" below.

The only reason I turned the clipart to a bitmap is because I couldn't find a way to do it with the original vector art.

Maybe someone can clear it up for both of us.

It's actually dead-simple. Go to Edit/Find and Replace... just go from "any color model" to "greyscale" - you'll have to run it once for fills and once for outlines.

Thanks javabear - I knew there HAD to be a way of doing this. Funny it isn't mentioned at all in the Help files.

This was not quite as simple as I thought it would be - there is a wizard and a number of screens to step through in order to accomplish this. But at least now I know it can be done.
