Hi,

Do anybody ever try to convert an Ascom DECT Base station and phones to Avaya firmware (or any other OEM vendor such as Alcatel) ?
I know this is the really same hardware but can we flash it to become an Avava DECT R4 product ... ?

Bye

Get one and try? Post results here and the steps in an FAQ and become a published pioneer in the field of Ascom handset repurposing! Like when i think of vmpro i think of Gunnaro and Kholliday. Both stand up fellers.
Otherwise, subby Ascom in and get them to deal with it.

Now experiencing escalation fatigue.

I've flashed the Ascom handsets to become Avaya 3711 and it is possible with those, I never tried anything else.

Do you mean 3720 ? Because 3711 was with IP DECT (Detewe) and not DECTR4 (Ascom)

Yes, DeTeWe, but Ascom have the same handsets. The DeTewE handsets cannot be flashed with 3th party firmware but the Ascom variant can be flashed wirh Avaya firmware.
Never tried to flash the 372x variants as there is no need for it.

That was the aastra intrigant :)

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!
