Convert 2003 Standard to Enterprise

We have currently ran out of the 75GB limit for Stoarge for e-mail. We were told by our CDW rep that there is no upgrade to Exchange Enterprise, so we bought a new license for Exchange Enterprise. We need to convert our Exchange 2003 Stanard to Enterprise. Is it possible install Exchange 20003 Enterprise over Exchange 2003 Standard, or do I need to install Enterpise on a seperate server and migrate the database?

All you need to do is stick the cd in and click reinstall!

Personally I never upgrade even when it is possible.

Clean installs are just clean with no wee files left behind to mess stuff up.

I agree on the clean install in general terms,however on older versions of exchange I have done this upgrade without ever seeing a hickup.

Indeed, the change between Standard and Enterprise is only a few dlls. Nuffin major!
