I am experiencing an issue where my converse steps(Avaya CM 5.2) are not consistant when passing digits. As an example, I have programmed it to send xxxx but when we do a capture it only sends xxx. I have other converse steps that are passing the correct amount of digits. Anyone have any suggestions?

I assume when you say you do a capture, it's on the receiving side. You don't mention what digits are getting passed, first 3, last 3? I'm assuming it's only getting the last 3.

If so, it could be a timing issue. Display your system features in the PBX and go to the page that shows Converse First Data Delay (page 11 in CM 5.2.1) you may need to increase this number.

This allows for a connection delay, then transmission of the digits.

Have you done a list trace of the vector and made sure that it's passing the digits?

Yea sorry, I am only getting the first 3 digits. yes I am capturing them on a trace from the fax server. the vector trace shows all 4 digits being passed. No vector errors are showing up.
