let's say i have a call come in and i want to send it across another trunk to an application server which relies on that call to be sent with DTMF digits.

i have heard that you can use converse-on here.

anyone know how?

i want to send a call to a hunt group 42 with digits 7722.

please advise.

Normally you would use converse if you have an intuity IVR platform. Same process might work for you app server.

You set up a hunt group (lets call it 42)and change the AAS parameter to Y .

You then add stations of type DS1FD and give them a port number from a DS1 board (not the same board you use with ISDN30 circuits)

You then ad an agent login id and set the "Port Extension" parameter to be the extension number of the DS1FD station you just set up.

Repaet this for the number of ports you want to use, eg. 30 on a DS1 board

From the vector you can then use the "converse on skill 42 pri m passing 7722 and none"
