Hi i was just wondering if anyone knows what the feature in OTM is for call transfer on analogue phones as on some phones you press the button marked with an R and it will enable to you to dial a number which will then transfer the call to that extension.

I have been looking through all the features and i have done print out's but i am struggling to find the difference between the phone it works on and the phone it doesnt.

On the phone it doesnt it rings straight through the the operator which is 0

an analog phone with a R.. that does not really narrow down the search..

transfer on an analog.. cls xfa ftr phd..

i add the phd to prevent perm hold.. i don't play with otm, you spend months learning a gui interface. nortel changes otm to tm then to tm express.. and you still don;t know the switch..

I would imagine the 'R' key does a switch hook flash, and the reason you get the operator is because the analogue phone is not set up as per john poole's post. As for the feature codes, you can print them in LD 57, as they are programmable they vary from switch to switch, But i'm fairly certain Transfer doesn't use a FFC, it uses timed break / switch hook flash.

just checked the FCC's and your right its now there, i have enabled Hook flash on the analogue phone but this still doesnt seem to work? do i need to do anything on the switch as well as enabling hook flash to get this to work?
