I've been looking at the "url.htm" example from potap@mail.primorye.ru and it's flash from a txt file example... where a swf is reading from a txt file, I was thinking, I could have my SWF 1 write the VARIABLES to my HTML page and then have my SWF 2 pick them up... now I know that if my txt file is on the server then if I have more than 2 folks or more on my site at once there is always the chance that they would both be saving to the same file, and we'd get the "somebody ate my birfday cake" senario. So then the other option is to hide the variables on the page someplace, like a Java code <PARAM> or in the <HEAD> so that it is only effecting the individual experiance. The other option is to save the data to a Cookie or have them "log in" and keep a "locker room" full of little txt files made individual for each player.
Well, there's my 2 bits, now it's off to a night of on-line personal ads, and teasing my salt-water fish with sushi.
