Controller Battery Reconditioning 1

I've got two Dell Servers, one a desktop, one a rack server, both running W2K Server. With a few days of each other, each got the following popup message:

The controller battery needs reconditioning.

The following message was in the system event log:

Description:
Application popup: Controller Message AFA0 : your controller's management software.

Does anyone know what this is? The knowledge base at Microsoft, was, big surprise, no help.

Me: We need a better backup system.
My boss's boss: Backup? We don't need no stinkin' backup!

your scsi controller has a battery on it for disk caching writes to the hard-drive in the event of power failure. These need reconditioning every so often, just regular server maintenance.
