I have both Access 2007 and 2010 on two computers, laptop and pc

In forms design, if I try to use any of the alignment features for vertical adjustments, none work. That is Increase Vertical, Equal Vertical, Decrease Vertical.

I have searched the web and cannot see anyone with the same problem.

In addition whilst writing, if I have controls on a tab form with a rectangle (filled) underneath, if I set tab orders and finish doing them, the rectangular background comes in front of the controls and I have to send it to back. Happens every time, the first time I thought I had lost all my controls.

Anyone else experienced this? Thanks

Thanks. No, nothing moves at all, no controls are overlapping. I thought because my Laptop and my PC did this with 2007 and 2010 then it must have been a bug. Also the tab setting problem is on both. Strange. Software was legitimate, Microsoft activated and has checked authenticity??

Oh well thanks. At least I can live with it, but its a bit of a pain on the alignment having to do it manually. Horizontal functions all o.k. Regards

Was this Form created using the Wizard? In 2007, Increase Vertical, Decrease Vertical, etc., will only work, in a Form created by the Form Wizard, if you first select the Controls then go to the Arrange tab and click on the Remove icon.

Thanks, no I did not use the form wizard as I never use it, build from a blank form. So that's interesting, bit silly making it only useable with wizard as all other alignments ie top, left etc work.
But thanks, will try it out. Regards
