Control Panel & main.cpl

After some deliberation have finally managed to get WindowsMe running according to my own specs (more or less). However, one prolbem remains:

Control Panel does not work with main.cpl, so that I cannot change my keyboard layout, among other things. Neither a full reinstall of WindowsMe nor the repeated "offer" of a clean main.cpl file solves the issue

Any suggestions?

How about extracting main.cpl from the install disk?
You could also try TweakUI to fix it up. Cheers,

Have tried just about everything in conjunction with main.cpl (apart from TweakUI as I did not figure there was a WinMe compatible version yet)

Shall find it right now
