Is there a way to reset the browser homepage to a specific page everytime a user logs on. and then prevent them from changing it to something else. We have a need to control the work environment on some of our desktops.

Perhaps a vb app that runs on start up or a logon script?

Yes, you can have the logon script execute and write the homepage to the regsitry setting for IE. You can find it by doing a search through your own registry looking for your homepage text.

I know it can be disabled through Global Policies (not sure how) and possibly the registry but I am not sure. My company did the same thing to my desktop so I just went into the registry and set it myself.

Hope this helps
