I have two groups, /Base and /Base/SAP. I set up a user in RADIUS to return the "Class" attribute of "/Base/SAP" which is displayed in the event log. When the user logs onto the contivity using PPTP, the class is returned from RADIUS as "/Base/SAP", however the user is still bound to "/Base" and NOT to "/Base/SAP". Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I must be missing a step or two...

put,

Did you setup group /base/sap to use inherited from /base?

I didn't do any thing to mark it as inherited for /Base. When I created it, I added the Group name and had the parent as Base. I think this is what you are refering to, but if there is something else I need to do, I didn't do it.

After digging deeper, I found the solution. I had to set the calss attribute to "ou=SAP" in RADIUS, the user was then assigned to the group /Base/SAP.
