Contivity 1010 - One Armed mode

Hi All,

Can the Contivity 1010 be setup in one-armed mode, meaning using only using
the private interface and no subnetting?

I believe so, as long as you have release 5.0 and enable 802.1q on the ethernet interface.

I did 802.1q on a Contivity at a remote site and it worked fine, but it wasn't one armed though. I don't see why it wouldn't work.

yes.. you can use it as one armed mode, without dot1q.

but you need to use the private interface, and you may want to disable the managment gui.
