I just installed a ces100 the other day. Using netiq qcheck i got 44Mbps in one direction and 70Mbps in the other. In other words, the throughput is probably way beyond what your WAN connection can handle.
Having said that, I was merely using the ces100 as a basic router, the config was not that fancy. The difference between the figures was due to the different specification computers that I was testing with.
Basically, the lower figure for the ces100 is about 85,000 packets per second. A Bay Networks ARN can handle about 25,000 pps while a Cisco 2500 can handle about 20,000 pps.
