I'm interested in using this to replicate between a file server to our DR location (multi-gbps LAN link) and possibly our Exchange 2003 server databases/logs to a folder on the same remote DR location.

General question I know but any experiences/feedback appreciated.

We're running Galaxy 7.x

You can use CDR to replicate files.
It works well.

You can even use CDR to replicate SQL DBs while in Simple mode.

Yet you should not plan to use the CDR for something like a database that depends on a huge amount of logfiles. The data be replicated but most likely be corrupted and you run into trouble. It's more a marketing gag than a serious feature.
