I have a new Zebra Printer and Labelview 9 and I am trying to print on a Continuous Roll.

Printer: Zebra Zm400
Software: Labelview 9

I have a continuous roll that is 3" wide
I want to print a label that is 3"x.5"

I sent the page and label size to that, but when I print it it comes out 2.5".

Any advice as to where to look?

Have you contacted the Zebra Printer support?

I'd guess that there are inherent margins internally programmed into the printer which may be preventing you from printing out to the label stock boundaries.

You may be able to change these margins, but, if you can, it will take sending Printer-specific commands to the printer.

For the specific commands (IF THEY EXIST AT ALL) you will need to get them from Zebra Support or find them on the web somewhere.

Good Luck,

Thanks,

I called Zebra this morning.

The length was set to 406 (on a 203 DPI head that is 2")

I created a txt file and FTPed it to the Printer.

It had the following in it

^xa^ll102^jus^xz

It was from the Zebra Programming guidebook.
The 102 in there is .5".

Works like a charm now.
