I've got a continuous form bound to an sql statement...

however when I view the form, it puts an empty record at the end.

There is no empty selected from the sql, there is only the *new record field.

So is the continuous form treating the *new record as a entry? and if so, how do I stop it?

I hope that makes sense

If I understand you correctly, you are listing the values of a query in a continuous form. You have a blank record at the end - which is there for data entry.

If you don't want the user to be able to add records through this form, set the "Allow Additions" property for the form to "No"
