Content Indexed E-mail restore

I'm having trouble restoring archived e-mail using the web search console. Content indexing is working and everything is up2date, but when i select "quick view" as an action from my resultset, the restore job fails (fairly quick). Log files on the content indexing server (single node installation) show that the mapi subsystem cannot be initialized. However, Outlook 2003 SP3 is installed on that same machine, as it is a documented requirement.

I cannot get the restores from the web gui to work. Tried alot of things, but with no result. Got the same problem on two installations.

Anyone got any suggestions?

got it fixed by using installing english outlook 2003. Strange
