Containerized SIP outages Today

Any one else had issues today with IP authenticated SIP trunks going in and out of service today. We have about 8 customers affected and all experienced a Kubernetes reboot last night at about 3.30am.

The trunks will stay up for 2-120 mins and drop for 2-20 mins randomly. So far we have had between 15 and 20 outages for each of our affected customers in the past 8 hours.

yeah, after being on the phone to avaya for about 30 minutes who kept denying it was an issue on their side, they finally brought Google into the call who could see something about an erant TCP port being opened up?

So according to Google it is an SNAT issue. To resolve they need to take the entire cluster down for about 10 minutes - which means all customers on that cluster being offline regardless of if they are affected or not. SO this is having to wait until this evening.

For now they recommended turning off Check OOS on the SIP trunk to allow incoming to continue to work and to stop the trunk dropping out of service.
